So there was 1 set and only 4 games between these 2 teams.
Peppin got the lead early winning round one 7 sets to 1 and Peppin caught up by winning rounds 2 and 3 it was not able to make up the deficit and lost by just that 1 set.
It was good to see that Peppin won 4 of the 5 mixed sets in the last round.
In the matchup between Mitre 10 and Legal Eagles it was also a case of disruption.
With the Legal Eagles team having to make a couple of late changes to their mens team before play could commence.
Mitre 10 with no such disruption got away to a strong start in round 1 winning 6 of the 8 sets, winning 6 of the 8 sets in round 2 and finishing off winning 8 of 9 sets in the 3rd round.
