YMGCR Mens Nine Holers
With Tuesdays game halted mid round because of lightning, 50 players braved the Yarrawonga heat on Thursday praying the siren would not go off again.
On the Blue, Artie Massey continued his recent good form with a super 21 points from his new handicap of 6, edging Charlie Hope to win A Grade on a countback.
Bob Fiddes edged Steve Williamson and Ray Douglas on 19 in another countback with ball prizes going to 16.
In B Grade Ray French scored 24 well deserved points to edge Paul Burke by one to take the win, with Ian Barton coming in 3rd on 19 points with ball prizes going to 16 on countback.
The pot round will now be played on Tuesday, Feb 11.
