Mack Ayton, a small but very quick rover from Kilsythe in Melbourne’s Eastern Football League, will make his first appearance for the Bombers.
Bombers co-coach Corey Carver said Ayton had recently moved into the district and he expected him to push for selection in the senior side.
Kyabram’s other recruits — ex-players Aaron Hayes, Ruben Rhode and Jack Sinclair — are expected to line-up in the senior clash but fly-in Queenslander and former Kyabram premiership player Rhys Clark, who is returning to play this season, won’t make the trip south for the game.
Golden Square is being coached this season by Kyabram premiership player Liam Barrett, who coached Murray league side Moama last year.
The game is being played at Elmore along with a reserves game between the two clubs starting at 11am. The senior clash is at 1pm. There is no thirds game.
