The club’s first race meet of the new year is on January 3 and has a special family flavour as part of Country Racing Victoria’s Summer Racing series.
Kids Day Out at Seymour includes free entry for all and free merchandise packs for children.
Kelly Sports Australia will also be running some great activities for the kids while the parents enjoy the company of friends and family and a full day of racing.
SRC chief executive Chris Martin is encouraging everyone to reconnect with friends and family at the track to start 2024 in style.
“This race meet really has something to keep everyone entertained — free entry for everyone and some great activities and merch for the kids while the parents unwind from a busy festive season,” Martin said.
“We’ve just received the fantastic complimentary merch packs the kids will get on entry, and they’ll be sure to keep the kids entertained well past the last race.
“Kelly Sports Australia do a great job across the country racing summer calendar and will keep the children active while having a blast.
“Let us do the hard work, come along and enjoy the company of your friends and family.”
Kids Day Out follows a successful Christmas Party Raceday for the SRC before Christmas.
“We’re stoked with the turnout at our annual Christmas Party Raceday, with people from right across the community celebrating 2023 with colleagues and friends,” Martin said.
“The racing was high quality, and it’s clear people were craving the return of this event to our racing calendar.
“We’re looking forward to delivering a massive racing calendar in 2024, and it starts with Kids Day Out.
“I’m excited to welcome everyone to the track to enjoy a fantastic day of family fun. There’s really something for everyone here at the Seymour Racing Club.”
