Benalla footy historian Mick Prysliwski was recently approached by former Benalla Demons player Mick Piekne, who had an interesting photo.
The photo in question was from a Demons game, possibly at the Gardens Oval.
While the two identified everyone in the photo, they do not know when it was taken, or from which game or competition.
So Mick Prysliwski approached the Ensign to see if anyone in the community could help answer those questions.
“We’ve got a list of all the people in the photo, but we don't know what game it’s from, what year it was in, or the significance of it,” he said.
“I think it’s possibly at the Benalla Gardens Oval, as you can see some fencing in the top left, which look like the old fencing around that oval.
“But we’re not even certain of that.”
