House spirit on display in close carnival results

Last Friday, May 16, Deniliquin South Public School held its annual athletics carnival.

The day was an impressive display of athletic talent, house spirit and good sportsmanship.

The winning house result came down to a single point, with Warbreccan as the champion house and winning the athletics carnival’s Thomas Shield for the first time in five years.
