Kyabram Fire Brigade was crowned the Club of the Year winner at the recent Goulburn Murray Cricket awards night, held at the Moama Bowling Club.

One of its players, Bohden Learmonth was an individual award winner, topping the runs aggregate in the T20 Challenge.
Cooma’s Ethan Palma-Ludeman claimed the Bill Williams Goulburn division’s B-grade bowling aggregate with 31 wickets while Tongala’s Callum Tucker won both the Bill Williams B-grade Murray division Champion Player award and also the bowling aggregate.
Stanhope’s Adam Braithwate won the Peter Raglus D-grade Champion Player award as well as the bowling aggregate.
Rushworth Cricket Club stalwart Kaylene Raglus was recognised for her sterling work by taking out the Volunteer Of The Year award.
Echuca South all-rounder Asantha Singappuli and Lockington Bamawm all-rounder import Prateer Mehta won major awards in the John McMahon A-grade competition.
Singappuli claimed the Champion Player award as well as the batting and bowling aggregates. He also won the bowling aggregate in the T20 Challenge competition.
Mehta was the Graham Turner Medallist based on umpires votes.
Moama’s premiership player Kobyn James took out the award for the best under-21 player in the competition.
One of the highlights of the evening was the elevation to Legend status of former champion Cooma all-rounder Paul Ranson and Echuca South’s Malcolm Whyte.
Life memberships were also award to BLU’s Graeme Carnie and cricket umpire Gary Langdon.
