After two national competitions in Queensland – TFT National Championships on the Sunshine Coast from August 28 to September 3 and FISAF National Championships on the Gold Coast from September 8 to 13 – six Shepparton athletes have yielded golden opportunities at international level, while the local studio accumulated 31 medals across both tournaments.
At the TFT Nationals, Revival dominated across multiple categories, particularly the Secondary Blue senior singles, where the studio took home a trifecta as RA athletes Alyssa Corazza, Evalee Royston and Peyton Royston stood on the podium after the national performances.
“It was honestly incredible,” Revival Aerobics Studio co-owner Sean Reynolds said.
“These kids have worked so hard this season and to see that determination and consistency be rewarded is really special.”

Corazza took home more gold at the FISAF Nationals, while six athletes qualified for the World Championships in New Zealand in November, doubling Revival’s tally from 2025 when the studio first arrived on the international scene.
Brodie Kelly, the current junior world champion, will be competing in the International Youth category, as will Caitlin Farrall.
Alex Liacos will also be competing at the world titles for the first time, in International Adult Pairs with athlete Alana Bellman from club DNA Hip Hop & Fitness Warrnambool.
Club owners Daniel Johnson and Sean Reynolds return to the world champs stage also for their solo routines in the International Masters Individual category, as well as their pairs routine after taking the national title and gold medal in the International Masters Teams category.
“It’s very exciting, we had a fantastic time last year in the Czech Republic,” Reynolds said.
“To have six athletes qualify, it’s the most we’ve had go to worlds, and to double what we had last year is great.
“For a niche sport, the studio’s growth has been exciting to see.”
The FISAF World Championships 2026 will take place from November 12 to 14, 2026, at the ILT Stadium Southland in Invercargill, New Zealand.
