Koopman defeated Garry Hulm on Sunday, 25-10, in a terrific match.
It was highlighted by exceptional draw bowling by the winner, and a great late fightback by our runner-up.

The RSL Diggers had just one win in the Campaspe Bowls Weekend Pennant competition on Saturday, with Division 4 getting up playing away against Stanhope.
Division 3 went down playing away to Stanhope almso, and Division 2 went down heavily at home against Echuca.
The Division 2 Diggers were down on all three rinks.
RSL lost to Echuca, 85-32.
Ian McKenzie, along with lead Danny Stanmore, Linday Dalzell, and Linda Harris, struggled to make an impact on the scoreboard in their contest.
Down 14-9 at the halfway mark, they only managed to score one single over the last nine ends, while Echuca scored steadily to win decisively.

Craig Taylor (s), Jenny Tonta, Ty Thurlow and Jo Chick also suffered a heavy defeat.
Echuca was too consistent and only allowed the Diggers limited scoring opportunities, winning 14 of the 21 ends.

Tony Tonta (s), Gary Koopman, Gary Hulm and Ron Marchetti had a forgettable day.
Trailing 4-22, they managed to win the final four ends to add a small semblance of respectability to the scoreline.

In Division 3, Stanhope won overall by 24 shots, 71-47, with the Diggers returning a win, a loss and a draw.
Tony King (s), James Rhook, Peter Thommers and Alan Hodges were never in the contest in their game.
They only managed to win six end wins for the day and conceded ‘fives’ on four separate occasions.
Stanhope controlled proceedings all day for a resounding victory.

Neville Austin (s), Peter Todd, Chris Frampton and Neils Hilton were behind for most of the day, but they rallied strongly over the last five ends to trail 14-16 on the penultimate end.
A final end three resulted in a one-shot victory.
RSL 17 def Stanhope 16.
Jim Jennings (s), Archie Webster, Brian Clancy and Sandra Hill were down for the majority of their game.
A late charge saw them winning the final four ends and scoring five shots to them a well-deserved tie.
RSL 18 drew Stanhope 18.
The Dvision 4 Dinners won a thriller by just two shots – 54-52.
The Diggers won on two of the three rinks.
John Wilson (s), Paul Connor, Graeme Gordon, and Callan Glenn had an impressive victory, with all members contributing to their positions throughout.
They led throughout, scoring a vital three on the last end, which ensured the overall win for RSL on the day.
RSL 23 def Stanhope 15.
Wayne Bradley (s), Ian Chessells, Miro Peterman and Darcy Nilsson led 16-15 on the 16th end in a tight match.
They led 18-17 on the penultimate end and grabbed an important three and the win on the final end.
RSL 21 def Stanhope 17.
Bruce Clancy (s), Cheryl Bradley, Gaye Goodwin and Glenys Chessells trailed 9-10 with seven ends to play but struggled from that point on, only taking a further shot.
Stanhope played much more consistently, taking the final six ends and 11 shots for a solid victory.
