The Seymour Tennis Complex held its annual Labour Day tournament on Saturday, March 9.
Unfortunately, the hot weather caused the program to be restricted to singles and one mixed doubles competition.
Both the junior and senior competitions were very competitive, with some excellent tennis being played.
The Forde family from Ky Valley was the big winner on the day, with mum Laura winning the women's singles, her son Jack the men's singles and daughter Ella the under-12 girls’ singles.
Jack‘s performance was especially notable as he is still eligible for the junior competition.
Jude Montaro won the under-12 boys’ trophy in a hard-fought competition and showed he may be a champion of the future.
