Brock has been named as one of six emergencies to travel with the team to compete in the 2021 Australian Under-16 Junior Championships, which will be held from July 3 to 7.
Shepparton's Josh Waight, who coaches the Gators in the Big V Basketball division one competition, will coach the side.
Waight was all praise for Brock and said he would bring plenty of attributes to the team.
“He (Brock) has a bright future in the game,” Waight said.
“He will benefit from training with elite players and we are very excited for him and very excited to have him as part of the group.
“He does a really good job inside and a great outside presence as well.
“He set's up really good screens and has the ability to shoot from distance and hopefully he can continue to develop that.”
The Victoria Country under-16 side is coming off a silver medal performance the last time the championships were held back in 2019.
