Bowlers receive bumper donation

The Deniliquin Bowling Club’s newest piece of training equipment - the B-Lest Bowls Bumper - has arrived at the club.

Bowls Victoria provided the funds, which came from the several Deniliquin Bowling Club members who attended the Victorian Open.

The B-Lest Bowls Bumper, developed through Barrie Lester’s B-Lest philosophy, will be a fantastic addition to the club’s training equipment.

Players will be able to practise their drives without damaging their bowls, which the club says will be perfect for getting some extra practice in.

Deniliquin Bowling Club members are welcome to grab it from the clubrooms and use it whenever they like.

Joker Bowls

Last week’s Joker Social Bowls winners were Tony Danckert, Col Knuckey and Lloyd Ritchie (S).

Graeme Pearn was drawn for the Joker, but unfortunately, he’d already left the building.

As such the jackpot rolls over to a massive $1150 this week.
