And in a thrilling end, Kilmore pipped the Eagles with an over to go, surpassing the visitors’ score of 152 with five wickets in hand.
A late-order batting collapse saw Yea Tigers succumb to Pyalong on Saturday.
After posting a stellar score of 152 with the bat, Pyalong went about business on Yea, dismissing the Tigers for 86.
Despite a strong partnership from top order duo, Patrick Evans (23) and Lachlan Beattie (40), no other Tiger made it past 10 runs.

Pyalong’s Matthew Wilkins had a day out with the ball, recording 3-2 from four overs, including three maidens.
A disastrous innings with the bat saw Tallarook lose its match against Avenel.
Batting first, Tallarook knocked together 61 runs from 32 overs, a total Avenel easily reached in just nine overs.
Avenel’s Chris Tingay was a jet in attack, finishing with 3-7, while Duncan Lowis top scored with 38 not out.
Tim Orgill led Alexandra to victory over Puckapunyal with a stunning innings, smashing 69 for the visitors.
After dismissing the army base for 100, Orgill practically pulled his side to victory himself, Alexandra finishing with 2-102 from 23 overs.
Orgill’s teammate James Kidd proved to be the all-rounder of the match, finishing with 6-17 in Puckapunyal’s innings, before backing it up with 28 not out with the bat.
● In C-grade results, Seymour’s thrilling two run victory over Pyalong kicked off round six with a bang.
After making 9-145 in the 40 overs, Pyalong couldn’t hold on in the end, Seymour using all its balls to finish with 8-147.
Seymour’s James Voogt was the star of the match, taking 3-17 in attack, before notching up 34 runs.
Avenel beat Eastern Hill by six wickets, Chayse Thomson (44) a standout with the bat.
In a battle of the two Broadford teams, Black trumped Red at Broadford Secondary College on Saturday.
Black knocked Red over for 113, after scoring 9-153 with the bat themselves - Black's Cody Ball (34) and Jason Purves (33) the best of the lot.

Alexandra knocked over Kilmore in their clash at L.B Davern Reserve, with their attack with the ball a match winner.
Alexandra dismissed Kilmore for 38 from just 18 overs, before Darren Waixel (30) made sure his team could easily chase down the lead.
Jordan Ferrier finished with Alexandra’s best bowling figures, taking 3-9.
Rounding out the weekend, Puckapunyal Wanderers overcame their counterparts, Puckapunyal Nomads, with Jared Mott (3-4) and D Chegwidden (3-22) ripping through the Nomads’ batting order to limit their rivals to 60.
Earlier in the match the Wanderers put together an innings of 83, with late-order batsman Ryan Britten (19) proving an asset for the winning team.
