Reining premiers Allstars were in damage control after suffering a 0-3 loss to the rampaging Racketters.

Allstars' No 3 `Shiny' Krystal Hoten will improve after a long absence from competition.

Team Bulldogs welcomed back Tim `The Tarantula' Kearns to the No.2 spot. The Tarantula’s spider-like court coverage was decisive in his win over fellow `Daddylonglegs' Chris Conboy.

Bulldogs' captain Colin McBean continued his good winning ratio, 3-0 over Chad Parker.

The `Queen of Avenel' Sally Littlewood had a winning night, recording another devastating victory over third seed Paul `The President' Kennedy.

Second to the Racketters on the ladder is the Nick `The Magician' Turenne-led Team 1. The Magicians defeated another newly badged team, Power Puff Girls, 2-1.

Team 1 also welcomed back fitness guru David `The Bull' Bulluss. In his comeback game after competing on the Master’s Circuit, `The Bull' lost in three to Zaine `The Hyphen' Lewin-Hoy.
