The 150th Shepparton Show will officially open on Friday, October 9, with a special opening ceremony celebrating the rich history of the Shepparton Agricultural Society and the many volunteers who have contributed over the past 150 years.

Highlights of the opening ceremony will include performances by the RAAF Ceremonial Band, volunteer recognition, the official cake cutting and the unveiling of a commemorative community patchwork display celebrating the show’s history.
Across the two-day event, visitors can enjoy a packed program featuring livestock competitions, championship dog shows, horses, arts and crafts, photography, horticulture, cookery, trade exhibits, community displays, free family entertainment, camel rides, animal nursery, sideshow alley, live demonstrations and much more.
Saturday evening will once again conclude with the spectacular fireworks display, providing a fitting finale to our historic 150th celebration.
The Shepparton Agricultural Society is also delighted to welcome the support of many community organisations, local businesses and volunteers who have helped make this milestone event possible.
Their generosity and commitment continue to ensure the Shepparton Show remains one of regional Victoria’s premier agricultural events.
