Reaching this milestone is something very few organisations achieve, and it has only been possible because of the dedication of generations of volunteers, exhibitors, sponsors, members and supporters who have kept our show going for the past 150 years
The Shepparton Show has always been much more than an annual event.
It’s a place where our community comes together to celebrate agriculture, showcase local talent, reconnect with friends and create lasting memories.
Many people who visit today came to the show as children, and are now bringing along their own children and grandchildren.
We’ve worked hard to make this year’s show a fitting celebration of our 150-year history.
Visitors can enjoy all the traditional favourites including livestock competitions, horses, championship dogs, arts and crafts, horticulture, photography, cookery, trade exhibits, community displays, sideshow attractions and plenty of free family entertainment.
We’ve also planned several special features to mark this historic anniversary and celebrate the people who have shaped the show over the past century and a half.
While we’re proud of what we’ve put together, this celebration isn’t just about the current committee.
It belongs to every volunteer, exhibitor, sponsor and supporter who has contributed to the show’s success over the past 150 years.
We sincerely thank everyone who has played a part in our journey.
We look forward to welcoming everyone through the gates on Friday October 9 and Saturday, October 10 to celebrate this remarkable milestone.
