Shepparton link to Melbourne murder accused

Ishtpal Singh, 31, of the Melbourne suburb of Brookfield, has been charged with the murder of Anmoral Singh Bajwa.

Thirty-six-year-old Mr Bajwa’s body was located in a park near Elementary Rd about 7.30am on January 21.

Mr Bajwa, a father of two, lived in Mambourin.

Mr Singh appeared briefly in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 22, where he was remanded in custody to next appear in court in May.
