The 2022 Victorian Wine Show winners were announced at Mitchelton Winery last week.

Heathcote grower Jess Dwyer’s boutique winery Farmer and the Scientist took out the award for best Victorian Shiraz for its 2021 vintage.

The award was presented by the Seymour Agricultural and Pastoral Society, which is a sponsor of the competition.

The Victorian Wine Show is open to all wines produced in Victoria and this year’s judging took place at the Seymour Racing Club on October 26 to 28.
