Rochester Business Network’s president Glenda Nichol was thrilled with the turnout at Friday night’s market after a long, tough COVID-19 year.
“It was great to see an increase in stalls and I’d particularly like to thank all the volunteers,” Ms Nichol said.
“When we put a call out for assistance it is the same group who keep supporting us and their town time and time again and we are very lucky to have such great backing.
“A big thank you to each and every one of you.
“The free kids’ entertainment was again a huge hit and was a drawcard for families to get out and have some family fun.
“Relocating it to Mackay St proved very popular with both families and the Mackay St traders.
“The committee have already started working on plans to make next year’s Christmas Market even bigger and better.”
