Turbine returns, ready to thrill tastebuds

The Trawool Estate has re-opened the doors to its award-winning Turbine restaurant.

A VIP evening on September 14 delighted industry leaders and district residents, including State Member for Euroa Annabelle Cleeland, Luxury Escapes managing director Paul Chai and Rambling Wine Tours owner Sarah D’Orria.

Guests eagerly anticipated the re-opening following its closure earlier in the year due to a fire.

The evening began in the estate’s lounge, with guests enjoying local Brave Goose wines before heading downstairs to Turbine.

Owner Wes Old greeted guests and head chef Bob Piechniczek showcased a sample of his menu, which marries international influences with traditional Australian flavours.

Guests experienced the new culinary direction and experimental cocktails Turbine is well known for.

A crowd favourite was the carrot hot dog, with the crab doughnut surprising and delighting.
