Forty of the 46 rams on sale were sold at the sale held on-farm in Violet Town on September 28.
They were pleased to see many return buyers as well as three new buyers.
The top-priced ram was sold for $6250 to the Kubeil family from Tamleugh, who have been regular buyers for 20 years.
The ram they chose was selected for its carcass and wool attributes, as well as its good meat.
The average price achieved at the sale was $2050.
Ms Toland said the results were pleasing to see after a tough couple of years.
“With the confidence back in the wool market, people are back buying Merino lambs,” she said.
She said it was encouraging to see many regular buyers return after a poor season last year.
Ms Toland said she believed recent weather conditions had helped to restore confidence in the sheep market.
“We’re having an amazing spring,” she said.
“We’ve got so much feed in the ground,”
“It’s encouraging people to stay (interested) in sheep or get back into Merino,” she said.
While there is still a shortage of ewes, Ms Toland is hopeful this will improve.
“It’s a matter of people investing in Merino ewes and building the future numbers,” she said.
The remaining flock rams are for sale privately. For more information, contact Anna on 0438 981 605.
