The 2024 event will run from Friday, April 12, to Sunday, April 14 — and once again, there is plenty to see and do.
Several fan favourites are returning for this year’s event, which includes Country Kitchen and Butcher Shop demonstrations, the National Whipcracking Championships and Beloka Kelpies.
Over 400 exhibitors, including farm lectures, Learning Hub talks and the Arts and Crafts Pavilion, and plenty of livestock, will be at the three-day expo.
The event has proved to be a popular social day out for couples and families and provides a welcome $6 million injection into the local economy annually.
This year is especially exciting as the expo welcomes a new event manager, Jo Smiles.
“We are so thrilled to be back for 2024, with many familiar faces returning as well as some exciting new additions to our lineup,” Ms Smiles said.
“The team from All4FMX are joining us on Saturday and Sunday with their motocross show, and OzSort Team Sorting are returning with their equine demonstrations.
“The event will be a great way for families to finish out the school holidays.”
There will be educational talks on sustainable farm practices and more at the Learning Hub marquee.
A delicious menu has been planned in the Country Kitchen and Butcher Shop by expo chef and butcher team Adrian Hesley and Vic Bonacci.
Ms Smiles thanked Mitchell Shire Council, Seymour Football Netball Club and Kings Park Committee of Management for their ongoing support and co-operation in the preparation for and execution of the expo.
