The motions from requisitioning directors Steve Fawns, Troy Mauger and Brendan Barry formed the basis of a more than two hour general meeting in Deniliquin this morning.
Shareholders could vote online, by proxy or in person at the meeting.
The results, announced at 3pm today, are as follows:
Resolution 1: Removal of Director – Mrs Trisha Gorman
• For: 552
• Against: 740
• Abstain: 6
Resolution 2: Removal of Director – Mr Robert Burbury
• For: 543
• Against: 745
• Abstain: 10
In the lead up to the general meeting, the requisitioning directors said they would resign from the board if the votes were lost.
This morning’s meeting was told that the trio made a request to withdraw those resignations last night, but expert advice sought by the company said the commitments were “irrevocable”.
