Starting on November 8 and running through to December 13, the Sundays Series brings together workshops, nature-inspired activities, local makers and festive celebrations offering a different reason to visit each Sunday.
Gallery operations co-ordinator Olive Gilbert said the series welcomes people who may not have visited before and gives the community an opportunity to experience the gallery as a place to learn, create and connect.
“Visitors are encouraged to explore the art and outdoor space, take part in an activity, meet local artists and makers and enjoy time with friends and family,” Olive explained.
“Through these gatherings we aim to build awareness of the gallery, encourage return visits and support local artists, workshop facilitators and small businesses,” she said.
“They also provide an opportunity to hear what the community would like to see at the gallery and help shape future workshops and events.
“So please come and explore our gallery, book into a workshop or join us for a community event.
“You can follow MAGB for updates and booking details or drop into 74 Meninya Street, Moama.”
