It is an activity that can be played by those not so fast on their feet, as participants are not allowed to run.
It is open to all comers.

The Jerilderie Fishing Club has suggested that you save the date for the 2023 Go Fishing Fun Day.
It is planned for Sunday, November 5, and will be a family friendly fun day.
There will be a free barbecue and some great prizes up for grabs.

A parent information session for those starting school in 2024 will be held at Jerilderie Public School tomorrow, Thursday, August 31 at 5.30pm.
A tour of the school and a staff presentation will be included.

The Jerilderie Portsea Camp Committee is seeking children interested in participating in the 2024 Portsea Camp in January.
Children in the Murrumbidgee Council area, aged between 8 and 12 years, are eligible.
Dates will be from Monday, January 15 to Friday, January 19.
Cost has been set at $700 per child, which covers five days of fun and activities.
Accommodation, meals and transport are also included in the cost.
Total camp costs have been subsidised in the past by generous donations from local businesses and organisations.
Thirty places have been allocated to our areas, with a deposit of $200 with enrolment application required by November 3 to secure a place.
The balance is to be paid by December 8.

The Jerilderie Hospital Auxiliary will be holding a raffle stall this Friday, outside IGA.
Starting time is 9am.
Support of this fundraiser for our local hospital would be appreciated.
