At 2pm on Wednesday, September 24, Avenel Library will facilitate a craft session where participants can make their own squirmy worm out of beads.
Wriggly wrapped spiders
Weave, twist and bend to create a kooky spider at Nagambie Library on Thursday, September 25 at 10.30am.
Art workshop with Reclink
Workshops exploring a range of different art styles and projects will be held at Seymour College on Thursday, September 25 from 10.30am to 1pm as part of the Mitchell Shire Youth Fest, open to young people aged 12 to 24.
Sip and paint
A child-friendly version of the classic sip and paint will be held at Seymour Library and Customer Service Centre on Thursday, September 25 from 10.30am to 11.30am, involving arts and crafts, juice boxes and messy masterpieces.
Seymour Fun Day
The third annual Seymour Fun Day is scheduled for return this AFL Grand Final Public Holiday, involving a range of food, laser tag, rock climbing and drone flying at the Seymour Sports and Aquatic Centre on Friday, September 26 at 10am.
Swim school holiday intensive
From 9am to noon on Monday, September 29, the swim lesson intensive program will begin at the Seymour Sports and Aquatic Centre, involving five consecutive days of classes where kids will build confidence, refine technique and work towards their next level.
Lego play
Drop-in and have a blast with Lego creations at Avenel Library, during opening hours on Wednesday, October 1.
Arts, crafts and collages
A workshop at the Seymour Library and Customer Service Centre on Wednesday, October 1 at 10.30am will allow kids to bring their imaginations to life, using pom poms, matchsticks and pipe cleaners to create colourful masterpieces.
Movie afternoon
The childhood classic Chicken Run will be played at Avenel Library on Wednesday, October 1 at 1.30pm.
Paper quilling
A beginner quilling activity, suitable for ages 8 to 12, will be held at the Seymour Library and Customer Service Centre on Friday, October 3 from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
Avenel Arts activities
On Monday, September 22, Tuesday, September 30 and Thursday, October 2, Avenel Arts will host a basic beats (percussion) session for ages 4 and up at 10am, and an all-ages sing-along session at 11am.
It will also facilitate guitar lessons for ages 10 and above at 12.30pm on Monday, September 22 and Tuesday, September 30.
