If play continues, the club set to host Tongala tomorrow.
The selected rinks are S Hill, A Webster, R Marchetti and skip R Reid; J Glenn, J Wilson, T King and skip N Hilton; and M Connor, D Stanmore, N Austin and skip C Taylor.
If officials don’t cancel the round, the start time will be 9.30am.
Croquet
There is no croquet report in this edition of the Pastoral Times as the games scheduled for Sunday, January 25, and Wednesday, January 28, were called off due to the heat.
The Deniliquin Croquet Club abandons play if the temperature reaches 38℃.
Croquet is expected to be back on Sunday, as the weather drops back to more manageable conditions.
Park run continues
Parkrun is on every Saturday, starting from McLean Beach at 8am, the is going strong despite the warm weather.
Last Saturday, 74 eager participants presented at event 189.
There were lots of visitors from Canberra, Melbourne and Mildura due to the Australia Day long weekend.
Parkrun is welcoming to all, and running isn’t compulsory, with many choosing to walk the course instead.
