Circus goers were treated to the terrifying wheel of steel, award-winning aerial straps performances and extraordinary roller-skaters Duo Stellare, all within a large yellow and white tent standing tall in Chittick Park.
Circus representative Simon Tait said so far it had been a “fabulous season”.
“So far it’s been very, very well received,” Mr Tait said.
“It’s always nice to be able to bring entertainment to the people — that’s what circuses have done for generations.”
The team of dazzling acts is taking on the regional Victorian road, stopping next in Wangaratta.
Mr Tait said bringing the acts to smaller towns elicited within him a sense of gratification.
“In the city, they’re spoiled for entertainment, they have everything at their fingertips,” he said.
“Country people, though, are just so friendly, and it’s so wonderful to do a country tour.
“Country people really appreciate it when entertainment comes to their town.”
With acts from across the globe, including from Spain, Argentina, Columbia and Brazil, Mr Tait said the performances were of a high calibre, which had been warmly welcomed by the Seymour audience.
“We really want to say thank you all so much for being so hospitable to us and we really look forward to coming back again,” he said.
If you missed the show in Seymour, tickets are now on sale for the Wangaratta leg of the tour.
