The Seymour Show is back this year at Kings Park in Seymour.

Gates will be open from 4pm to 9pm on the night of Friday, October 4, and 9am to 4pm on Saturday, October 5.

Highlights will be the fabulous fireworks on the Friday night, which will be absolutely spectacular, and live bands playing near the main arena with all the pavilions open for members of the community to enjoy and admire the attractions inside.

Woodchopping will make a return to Seymour as one of only two regional shows in Victoria presenting a full list of events for participation by the finest wood choppers in the land.

This will be an event not to miss on Saturday, October 5.

There will be a full program of horse events on the main arena, with the inclusion of harness classes.

Separate to this, there will be Clydesdale horses providing wagon rides for patrons.

Pony clubs are catered for and encouraged to participate.

The show society is keen to encourage volunteers to assist with stewarding in the various competitions either in the pavilions or on the main arena.

Anyone interested should contact secretary Pam Beerens on 0422 058 213.

People interested in competing in the various sections should consult the schedule online at Seymouragshow.org.au
