Seymour Highway Patrol is seeking witnesses, or anyone with CCTV or dash camera footage, who may have been in the vicinity of the intersection of Avenel Rd and Seymour-Avenel Rd, Seymour, during a recent hoon event on July 23 at about 4.28pm.
A police spokesperson said that anyone who observed any suspicious or dangerous driving behaviour, or have footage that may assist police, is encouraged to come forward.
Police are keen to obtain footage that captures:
- Excessive acceleration
- Dangerous or reckless driving
- Vehicles revving unnecessarily
- Any behaviour that may pose a risk to public safety
