Principal Graeme Hodgens has celebrated the achievements of his students, especially after a particularly difficult year.
“We managed to get a graduation in at the end of this year as well, which we are pleased about,” he said.
“In the end, they probably had as close to a normal year as we could do for them.
“We had a limited number of family members coming to the graduation, but it’s been a positive end to a difficult year.”
Mr Hodgens is ready to face any challenges that come to the school in the new year, but is cautiously optimistic.
“Like everybody else, we’re geared up to manage whatever comes, but we’re ready to protect our kids and our community if need be,” he said.
“We’re glad we’re at the end of the year, and looking forward to next year to start again.
“We know that next year will be better than this year. We’ll never go back, we’ll always go forward.”
