The event will be held at St Mary’s College, McIntyre St, on Sunday, December 11.
The night will kick off at 5.30pm, with pre-show entertainment and kids’ activities.
Santa will pay a visit, and the carols concert will begin at 7.30pm.
The Lions Club of Seymour Goulburn will be organising the event.
The combined churches of Seymour will be bringing the entertainment, with music from church and school choirs, the Mitchell Shire Concert Band and the ‘Pastors Apprentices’.
The groups started meeting in May to get ready for the performance.
There will be old favourites as well as contemporary songs.
All proceeds from the evening will go to SES Seymour.
Seymour Lions events committee member Reggie Young said it was a great opportunity for the community to come together for a night of music and reflection after a difficult past few weeks.
“We normally support a medical field of some description, last year it was ambulatory care ... We felt that this year, due to the effort the SES have put in, the stress that they have been under and the amount of work they have put in as a volunteer group, let’s look at another volunteer group that has been under the pump,” she said.
The Lions Club of Seymour Goulburn and the combined churches of Seymour would like to thank St Mary’s College, CFA Seymour, Mitchell Shire Concert Band, Nestlé Australia and, of course, Santa, for their continued support over the years.
