The teams consisted of triples and rinks, and included new bowler Jenny Moora, and Karen Barnes, who was back in town visiting and showed she hasn’t lost her touch.
Winners for the day were Marg Chick (s), Lyn Short and Jo Chick, with three wins and 38 shots.
Runners-up were Betty Matthews (s), Gloria Griffiths, Sandra Hill and Jenny Moora with two wins and 25 shots.
Only four resting touchers were awarded, and the lucky door prize was won by Ann Norris.
The RSL’s lady bowlers encourage new and experienced players to come along on Thursdays and join in the fun of social bowls, and enjoy afternoon tea and coffee in a relaxed, friendly environment.
It’s only $3 to play, which includes afternoon tea and coffee and entry to the lucky door prize.
Play is upstairs in the Deni RSL Dunlop Room. Names must be in by noon for a 12.30pm start.
Results from yesterday’s play will appear next week.
