Its production of The Wedding Singer is set to delight audiences this November.
The high-energy romantic comedy, set in 1985, follows wedding singer Robbie Hart, played by David Wilson, as he navigates heartbreak, friendship and a chance at true love with waitress Julia Sullivan, played by Charli Lewis.
Packed with big hair, bigger laughs and an 80s-inspired soundtrack, the production promises plenty of nostalgia.
Directed by Thomas Boyd, who led SPW's acclaimed 2024 production of Avenue Q, the show is shaping up to be another standout for the company.
Producer Sarah D'Orria said the cast had already exceeded expectations.
“The talent in this cast is incredible, and it's exciting to see the show already starting to come to life,” she said.
“Seymour Performers Workshop has built a reputation for producing high-quality musical theatre, and The Wedding Singer will be no exception.
“Audiences can expect outstanding vocals, plenty of laughs, spectacular choreography and all the nostalgia of the 1980s.”

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 1, with five performances scheduled across two weekends, opening Saturday, November 7 at the Seymour College Arts Centre.
An 80s-themed night will kick off the opening weekend, with audiences encouraged to dust off their leg warmers, shoulder pads and neon colours.
SPW's previous production, Matilda Jr, was a complete sell-out, so theatre lovers are encouraged to book early.
