It’s been a busy start to Term 3 at St Joseph’s Primary School, Nagambie, with several activities happening around the school.

Years 5 and 6 students watched Notre Dame College’s production of School of Rock, with a musical workshop held for Years 5 and 6 students — titled Ablaze — with Fr. Rob Galea.
Art lessons were conducted by visiting artist Terry Jarvis, while Foundation and Years 1 and 2 students learnt about personal safety in the Bravehearts program.
Students and their parents participated in teacher advisory meetings, where students had the chance to share their work and learning with their parents and set goals for themselves for the term.
Mary MacKillop’s Feast Day was celebrated with companion school St. Mary’s, Rushworth, and students participated in a prayer service and then completed some activities together.
Water Week activities for the upcoming Water Week competition put on by Goulburn Valley Water wrapped up, and a cultural day was held during which the children participated in traditional Aboriginal games, dance, and art activities.
Seymour police also visited the school, talking to Years 5 and 6 students about crime scenes, forensic sciences and bike and road safety.
