Police will allege the 17 year-old male driver attempted to avoid being pulled over by speeding up, turning into various Deniliquin streets and through a service station driveway before being stopped.
Police initially tried to stop a white ute about 4.20pm on June 2, after officers saw it lose traction and turn sideways when entering Hay Rd from Wanderer St in north Deniliquin.
It was then followed into Victoria St and Short St - police alleging the ute lost traction and turned sideways when turning - and through the service station.
Police allege the ute exited the service station on to Davidson St by crossing over both lanes of traffic without hesitation.
Other cars had to take evasive action to avoid a collision.
The ute was then reportedly seen undertaking another vehicle on the north Deniliquin roundabout, and turning in to Hay Rd.
Police were preparing to initiate a formal pursuit when the car eventually pulled over in Hay Rd.
Checks revealed the driver was 17 and on his Provision 1 (red Ps) licence.
He was charged with drive recklessly, furiously or in a manner dangerous to the public and for not displaying P-plates.
He is expected to appear in Deniliquin Court on August 10.
