New building, same service: J & J Equipment Hire will reopen at 129 Wimble St next week.
From Monday, April 11, J&J Equipment Hire will service the Seymour area out of a new, larger space at 129 Wimble St.

“We’re lacking a little bit of room where we are now and we want to develop what we have,” owner Steve Royals said.
“We want to do exactly what we’re doing now but do it on a more manageable scale.”
Originally used by the army as a service station, the building recently housed Seymour Car Care and has since been renovated to house the hire business.
Mr Royals said his collection of vintage road and retail signs dating back to the 1920s would be on display in the new shop.
“We’re giving it a new lease of life,” Mr Royals said.
“(My collection) is not tucked away in private, everyone can enjoy it.”
Mr Royals took over the business from John Bonacker five years ago and it has continued to grow ever since.
“We are appreciative of the support John has given us over the past five years,” Mr Royals said.
“It’s given us the opportunity to follow it up and develop the business further.”
He said he was looking into opening on Sundays in the future and adding a 45-foot knuckle boom to the fleet.
More room: J&J Equipment Hire owner Steve Royals is looking forward to offering a more manageable service from the new premises.
“We’ve got five excavators, all are reasonably busy,” Mr Royals said.
The business also has four all-terrain swivel lifts for hire, among other pieces of equipment.
“Our motto is we have two of everything or more,” Mr Royals said.
