Strathbogie Shire Council is calling on Nagambie residents to pick the equipment for the town’s new splash park.
Council committed $1 million in funding in its 2021/22 budget to create a splash park at Buckley Park, Nagambie.

“We’ve now engaged Wacky Water Play as the contractor to develop this fabulous facility for the Nagambie community,” Mayor Laura Binks said.

“Our goal is to create a water play area for the Nagambie and surrounding communities, so we’re asking the community to pick the equipment.”
The splash park pad allows for nine individual pieces of equipment and there are 11 options to choose from.

Council has all the equipment listed on www.share.strathbogie.vic.gov.au and people are asked points system to show their preference.
“We encourage you to visit www.share.strathbogie.vic.gov.au to have your say,” she said.
Feedback closes at 9am on Monday, January 31, and construction is expected to start in February, with completion expected in late September.
