Morning Melodies a success

Entertainer Noel Pearson kept the 80 guests on their toes with his popular evergreen songs and some novelty dances.

MU members and helpers served a delicious morning tea, which was enjoyed by all.

Founding branch member Muriel Andrea, 97, was able to come along for the day.

The Seymour MU branch was established in the late 1950s and members from the Avenel and Nagambie groups joined it in the early 2000s, forming the Central Goulburn MU.

For more than 40 years, the MU has been hosting an annual fundraiser. This year, funds from Morning Melodies were sent to the MU gender-based violence, domestic violence and climate change project.

The MU would like to thank Noel Pearson, all guests, those who donated prizes and church members who supported the morning with donations for morning tea and the trading table.
