A minor flood warning has been issued for the Goulburn River from Lake Eildon to Seymour.
No significant rainfall was recorded across the Goulburn River catchment in the 24 hours to 3pm Wednesday, January 10, and no significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
The main flood peak along the Goulburn River is now at Murchison, where moderate flooding is occurring.
As these floodwaters extend downstream, moderate flooding will be possible at Shepparton and McCoys Bridge from late this week.
Releases from Lake Eildon have been increased to 5000 megalitres a day.
