Ms Henne was with seven other state finalists as guests of the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV).
Seymour Agricultural and Pastoral Society president Jason Ronald also attended as a director of the RASV.
The conference included representatives from all Australian states and territories as well as delegates from New Zealand and the United States. It gave delegates an opportunity to swap ideas and discuss solutions to problems as well as finding new ideas and new ways of doing different activities.
Presentation topics included changing conversations and strategic decision making by International Association of Fairs and Expositions chief executive Marla Calico. She spoke about the importance of knowing your identity, recognising the role of agriculture in shows and how to achieve potential.
Other topics covered included risk management, the secrets of a successful team, managing leadership transitions and finding and maintaining sponsorship.
Federal Agriculture Minister Bridget McKenzie also attended the gala dinner on the Saturday night, and the Showmen’s Guild of Australasia conducted a presentation prior to the conference.
A national Next Generation forum was also held prior to the conference, providing an opportunity for those under 30 to exchange ideas and discuss challenges and opportunities for the future.
