A proud Gamilaraay man from the Riverina, Mr Simpson is known for his storytelling and humour, having appeared on television programs including Have You Been Paying Attention?, Thank God You’re Here, The Amazing Race Celebrity Edition and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala.
Performing sold-out shows across Australia and internationally, Mr Simpson draws on family, culture and everyday life, bringing audiences to tears of laughter.
His latest show promises a night packed with gut-busting jokes, hilarious stories and the easy-going charm that has made him a firm favourite with audiences right across the country — a joyful celebration of storytelling, humour and the ties that bind us.
Campaspe Shire Council is hosting the event as an opportunity for the community to come together for a night out.
Mayor Daniel Mackrell said the show offered something different for locals.
“We’re excited to bring an entertainer of Dane’s calibre to Echuca for a night that is all about having fun and sharing a few laughs together,” he said.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for locals to enjoy a professional comedy show right here in Echuca at an affordable price, and we encourage people to gather their friends, family or workmates and come along for a great night out.”
