I grew up on dairy farms at Rochester and Nathalia.

My parents still have a 450-cow dairy farm at Nathalia and I have a lot of family around Kyabram and Rochester that are still milking cows.
I made the decision to run at this election largely because our current member has led our people to this drastic situation where primary producers can’t afford to buy water and now we’re seeing all our towns becoming increasingly desperate.
My vision is to get Northern Victoria back to a thriving economy where everybody can get ahead and make something of themselves.
This is Australia and everyone deserves these opportunities.
My approach is to start getting rid of legislation that is killing our businesses, starting with water carry-over and delivery shares.
We need to keep speculative investors out of our water market.
I’d like to see all of the Commonwealth water holdings sold back to farmers.
I want to see water at $20 per megalitre again, and I’ll do as much as I can to make it happen.
My other priorities are to introduce tariffs where we can to protect our producers, toughen up on drug crime and create more jobs for our people.
