The global commemoration, on Tuesday, March 17, provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate Irish culture and share a bit of the Emerald Isle with the wider school community.
Throughout the day, students and staff embraced the spirit of the occasion, with green outfits, laughter and a few Irish expressions making their way into classrooms.
The Irish teachers, who have travelled from across Ireland to live and work in regional Victoria, brought a sense of fun and cultural exchange to the celebration.
For many students, it was also a chance to learn a little about the Irish traditions, the history behind St Patrick’s Day, and how the holiday is celebrated back in Ireland.
