The Lions Club of Seymour Goulburn is deep in preparation for its annual community car boot sale, which is set to be bigger than ever before.
The day of treasure hunting, community connection and fundraising is fast approaching, with stalls of unique items to fill Kings Park.
Local shoppers are free to enter, while a $20 fee will be asked of those wishing to set up a stall and sell their items.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Lions Club of Seymour Goulburn, allowing members to facilitate important community programs and support local causes.
Event co-ordinator and president of the Seymour Goulburn Lions Club Regina Young said the day catered for all interests.
“Whether you’re decluttering your garage, looking for a bargain, or just want to enjoy a great day out with friends and neighbours, the car boot sale has something for everyone,” Ms Young said.
The event is set to feature:
- Dozens of stalls offering second-hand goods, crafts and collectibles.
- A famous Lions barbecue and a coffee van.
- And a community raffle and ‘best stall’ competition.
The car boot sale will be held on Saturday, September 13 from 9am to 2pm at Kings Park.
The Lions Club of Seymour Goulburn welcomes all to the event to celebrate sustainability, support a great cause and grab a few bargains along the way.
Space for stallholders is limited, so early bookings are encouraged.
