Home sweet home: Tallygaroopna CWA host traditional Christmas event

On Wednesday, December 6, the Tallygaroopna branch of the Country Women’s Association hosted a Christmas gingerbread house decorating night that proved a sweet success for all who attended.

About 60 community members joined the CWA ladies at the Tallygaroopna Memorial Hall to decorate their star-quality baked goods provided by the team at Numurkah Bakery.

Various candies were used to adorn the houses; mini marshmallows, smarties, and freckles were among the popular choices.

All enjoyed the beloved Christmas tradition, as seen by the snap-happy photos sent to The News.
