Following a successful grant application, Rochester Agricultural and Pastoral Association committee members installed the seating last week in preparation for the festivities.
State Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes announced local recipients of the Agricultural and Pastoral Society Grants Program in early February.
The grants aim to promote the state’s agricultural industry and support projects that create opportunities for social connection.
“Helping regional communities thrive is at the heart of these grants,” Ms Symes said.
“We’re proud to support initiatives that deliver real benefits and enable society to create events that bring their communities together.”
From Friday, February 27 to Saturday, February 28, the show will bring a mix of traditional displays and exciting new attractions to the Rochester Recreation Reserve.
Attendees can expect kids’ activities, livestock competitions, fireworks, laser tag and much more.
Gates are open from 5pm to 9pm on Friday, and 9am to 3pm on Saturday, with more information at rochestershow.com.au
