Goulburn Options Disability Support Services lost all six of its fleet vehicles when the floods hit Seymour last month.
Now, thanks to the support of the local community, Goulburn Options is back on the road.
Norcen, Bendigo Bank, Seymour and Kilmore Toyota, Central Ford Kilmore and the Mitchell Business Network all helped to secure new vehicles.
Bendigo Bank granted $40,000 to the group to purchase two vehicles.
Seymour and Kilmore Toyota and Central Ford Kilmore also contributed financially.
Goulburn Options has purchased two Kia Carnival people movers and a Toyota HiAce, helping the group get back to what it does best.
The organisation’s vehicles are integral to its service, transporting participants across the region to connect them with the broader community, events and various health services.
Goulburn Options business manager Rebecca Staring extended heartfelt thanks to all those who helped.
“The response was swift and driven by community values,” she said.
“Their contribution has enabled our Participants to get back to accessing the community.”
