The announcement comes as Campaspe Shire Council commits to supporting the festival in both 2027 and 2028.
Mayor Daniel Mackrell said council was proud to back events that delivered value to the community.
“The Echuca Country Music Festival is just one of the events that council helps bring to life each year for the benefit of our community as well as visitors and local businesses,” Cr Mackrell said.
“Whether you’re keen to get up and dance or just sit back and relax and take it all in, the Echuca Country Music Festival is sure to provide a great day out once again.”
Festival director Scott Hollow said the response to the inaugural event exceeded expectations and cemented Echuca as an ideal destination for a major country music festival.
“We knew after the success of the first festival that we had to come back and build on that momentum,” he said.
“Echuca has a fantastic atmosphere, a strong tourism offering and a passionate country music audience.”
Organisers are preparing an even bigger event for 2027, with a star-studded lineup of artists to be announced in the coming months.
The festival will feature a full day of live country music performances, food vendors, licensed bars and a family-friendly atmosphere.
The event is expected to attract visitors from across Victoria, NSW and beyond, providing a boost to local accommodation providers, hospitality venues and businesses throughout the Campaspe region.
