The Pastoral Times has heard reports of incidents in Deniliquin and Mathoura since late last week.
As police are still investigating, details of some were not available at the time of going to print.
In his report to the Pastoral Times yesterday, Chief Inspector Michael Fuller did confirm there had been two more business break-ins, and one theft from a public work site.
It follows reports of another business break-in in last Friday’s police report.
The new incidents include the break-in of a Davidson St business about 4.50am Sunday.
A car parked at the premises is believed to have been the target, but the offender/s were disturbed by the business owner.
The other business break-in is reported to have taken place about 1.45am Friday, at an industrial business on Barham Rd, Deniliquin.
“The offenders entered the yard of the premises and appeared to have looked for items to steal,” Chief Insp Fuller said.
“The offenders are believed to have taken some old mobile phones from the location.”
Police are also investigating the theft of diesel fuel and tools taken from a work site on Leetham Rd, Denilqiuin between 6pm Thursday and 7am Friday.
Anyone with information about any of the incidents is urged to call Deniliquin Police on 5881 2322 or CrimeStoppers on 1300 333 000. Reports to CrimeStoppers can remain anonymous.
